Method and network switches configuration system

This invention relates to network switches (20) of an information management system automatically configured by an Environment agent Pre-boot Execution (26) associated with each switch (20). The agent automatically requests a pattern image (42) during priming of the switch (20) to reconfigure. The agent (26) requires a configuration service to an Environment Pre-Boot Execution server (28) orders a Trivial Protocol Server File Transfer (44) to download the image on the switch (20). A blade (10) may have a plurality of blades (16) supported in a number of frame (14), each having one or more switches (20). Each switch (20) has an agent (26) so that the switches (20) are automatically configured by the same image (42). Alternatively, the selected configuration of the factors are set with reference to a unique identification.
