Simplified Soft Demapping Algorithm for Gray-APSK

Amplitude phase shift keying (APSK) constellation with Gray mapping was proposed recently. In this paper, a simplified soft demapping algorithm for Gray-APSK is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm decreases the soft demapping complexity considerably with little loss of SNR.
