Intelligent Approach of Making Passenger Train Stock Turn-round Diagrams for Alternating Periods between Old and New Train Working Diagrams

The substance of making passenger carriage stock turn-round diagrams for alternating periods between the old train working diagram and the new one is to determine the source of the carriage stock operational by the new train working diagram and the destination of the carriage stock operational by the old train working diagram so as to achieve smooth alternation between the old and new train diagrams.The constraint satisfaction optimization model of the passenger carriage stock turn-round diagram for alternating periods and its intelligent solving algorithm were given.The model aims to reduce the number of trains suspended from service and its constraints include the technical operation time of carriage stock and the condition that the carriage stock on off line location must be the allocation station of passenger train stocks.The heuristic knowledge was utilized to design the intelligent algorithm and to get the satisfactory solution of passenger carriage stock turn-round diagram for alternating periods between old and new train working diagrams.
