2.Design and Realization of Robot System Based on the Android Smart Phone Platform

This paper presents a design of a combination of Android smart phone platform and robot technology. Basing on the S5PV210 with Samsung Cortex-A8 and using the embedded mobile development platform with the Android operating system and also using all the available resources of Android operating system to design a robot system based on Android Smartphone. Using a number of peripheral modules as a server, android phones as a controller. With the Ethernet technology, image compression technology and sensor technology, intelligent robots can realize real-time image acquisition, real-time temperature and humidity data acquisition and real-time control of the car. The combination of Smartphone and robot will become the new spot light of modern life. It also makes it possible to let home-care robot. Toy robot and security-control robot enter into the life of people and improved people's quality of life.
