Fuzzy PID control of the direct methanol fuel cell

The direct methanol fuel cell(DMFC) is regarded as a complex nonlinear systems.With the help of modern control theory and fuzzy control technology,the state space model is established,the adaptive parameters fuzzy PID controller is designed,fuzzy control rules are provided,and a multi input-output system is converted to a single input-output system.Using Matlab simulation software simulation of the system is made in which the cathode air feed speed is the input quantities and the output power is output quantity.The results show that designed control program can effectively improve the performance of the DMFC system.
