Effect of drag torque in multi-plate wet clutch and its effect on synchronization in TC+AMT transmission

The mathematical models of drag torque and shift synchronization process of multi-plate wet clutch were established.Simulation was carried out in Matlab/Simulink.Simulation results were compared with experiment results.It is demonstrated that the models are correct and accurate.The influences of friction pair gap in multi-plate wet clutch,cooling oil flow rate and properties of cooling oil under different temperature etc.on the drag torque,shift synchronization time and energy were analyzed.This study may provide a reference for theoretical study and structural design of the multiplate wet clutch,and for the transmission system matching.
