The investigation of MBMS over single frequency network in outdoor urban area

This paper presents the Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service (MBMS) performance evaluation over Single Frequency Network (SFN). The evaluation is based on outdoor environment in urban area with several carrier frequencies. The performance of the MBMS over Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) demonstrates the highest SINR when the carrier frequency in the digital dividend band is used compared to 900 MHz and 1800 MHz. The evaluation is based on mathematical analysis computed in MATLAB.
