Demonstration of a Novel OCDMA Based PON System for Next-Generation Fiber Optic Communication

In this paper, through the basic components of fiber optic communication a novel transmission system called OCDMA (Optical Code Division Multiple Access) based PON with centralized light wave is demonstrated. Here we experimentally investigated the transmission performance of a modulation based on a recently proposed technique, OCDMA for next-generation passive optical network (NG-PON). The signal is generated by direct modulation of cost-effective and low bandwidth commercially available CW Lasers of 193.1 THz. And the experimental results at the transmitter and receiver end are gathered and compared for small channel (three users) with the help of Eye Diagram Analyzer to demarcate concluding statements.
