Synthesis of derivatized cyclopentadienyl-tricarbonyl complexes of 99MTC in water with an in situ co source

We want to present herein an improved and general synthesis of [(R-Cp)99mTc(CO)3] directly from water, where R represents simple organic substituents like benzoyl or acetyl, but also CNS receptor ligands from i.e. the aryl-piperazine type (WAY) binding to the serotonergic receptor.
