Harmonic interference suppression in power-line communication based on joint Kalman filtering

Addressing the narrowband interference caused by PLC with chaotic parameter modulation(CPM).The two-stage dynamic-based method involved large amount of calculation due to parameter estimation with minimum phase space volume(MPSV) criteria.So this paper proposed joint Kalman filter by incorporating the unknown model parameters into augmented state transition matrix to avoid the special parameter estimation process,which reduced the size of calculation as well as improved the processing gain.Verified performance of the proposed method by effectively suppressing the single tone and multi-tone interference of chaos-based PLC system.
