Research on Frequency Control and Evaluation of Various Power Disturbances

Frequency control is one of concerning issues for interconnected power grid. In accordance with new demand of frequency control under UHV transmission system, the frequency control thought, which is combined with the five level dispatching management model of "Unified Dispatch, Hierarchical Management" in China power grid, is divided based on the dimensions of disturbance severity. The performance evaluation method of disturbance control is suitable to integral frequency control under high-power loss fault as well as the three level scheduling schemes for state grid. Regional grid and provincial grid are designed on the basis of in-depth analysis of North America reliability standard set. The simulation results show that the frequency control performance evaluation method of interconnected power grid oriented to various power disturbances is with better effectivity than the North American disturbance control method, which can effectively improve the anti-disturbance capability of the system.
