The goal of this thesis is to explore the modern methods to form virtual IT support teams. The theoretical part will review principles of virtual teams’ setup and taking a look into the multicultural aspect and exploring the challenges and benefits of such a setup. The practical part is based on analyzing productivity of two existing teams performing the same job under the same conditions, the only difference between them being their team’s setup, one is a face-to-face team and the other one a multicultural virtual team. The teams will also undergo the multicultural analysis according to Gert Hofstede’s cultural model.
