The method is used for the terminal, and comprises steps of: receiving a first command used for indicating a terminal device to perform an information transfer operation; when a predetermined condition is satisfied, extracting designated information in the terminal; obtaining a target terminal address; generating a first content according to the designated information and the target terminal address, and sending the first content to a target terminal corresponding to the target terminal address. By applying the embodiment of the invention, when the terminal is in the remote or mute, received missed calls or messages or the like can be timely sent to the target terminal, and an employed sending mode is not limited, so that the target terminal can obtain the designated information in the terminal in real time. And, since a concrete bearing form of the first command is not defined, a setting method is very flexible, and user application is facilitated.
