Improved Viewing Quality of Three - Dimensional Images in Computational Integral Imaging Reconstruction

Integral imaging is a three-dimensional(3D) imaging technique that can record and display a 3D scene using a lenslet array or a pinhole array.This paper researches on low-resolution of computational reconstructed 3D images and proposes a method based on computational II reconstructed 3D images using lenslet array.The proposed method judges the similarity of the adjacent pixels blocks extracted from elemental image.And then,gray values of the pixels except the center pixel in the similar pixels blocks are modified according to the proposed algorithm.This method provides improvement of viewing image by smooth processing in similar pixel blocks to relieve discontinuous pixel values from different elemental images.
