Alkali/surfactant/polymer use at VLA6/9/21 field in Maracaibo lake

PDVSA E&P has developed its integrated field laboratory (IFL) strategy to evaluate new technologies and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods to improve recovery of light and medium oil. Alkali/surfactant/polymer (ASP) flooding technologies were evaluated to develop formulas, plan a pilot test, and determine whether the technology can produce incremental oil economically.
