Dynamic Real-Time Data Compression for Remote Monitor of Construction Machinery

The amount of data flow is considerable when continuously remote monitoring the running condition of construction machinery for a long time.In this paper,the data flow model of the real-time monitor process was analyzed.A comprehensive compression strategy mixed with several data compression methods was proposed,including prediction coding,character string relative coding.The application indicates the algorithm is easy to implement and has good real-time performance and high compression efficiency.
