Structural design of the electric power dispatching and Trade Center of Northeast Grid

The electric power dispatching and trade center of Northeast Grid consists of main building and auxiliary building. The seismic requirement is B level for main building and A level for auxiliary building.Filling soil is mixed with underlying soft soil to form the main bearing layers of subsoil, whose capacity and deformation are satisfied by adjusting foundation area and ground treatment method.Shrinkage compensating concrete and non-joint design technology were adopted for mass basement whose dimension is 1988m×1430m.The isolation rubber bearings were applied in the roof framing system of Sun Lobby and connecting corridor,in order to avoid influences among main building, auxiliary building and Sun Lobby.Dynamic analysis was performed to the structure excited by the earthquake ground motions with different intensities, and the calculated elastic-plastic deformation was checked.SRC or steel truss was employed in the key structural member to fulfill the target of performance-based seismic design.
