Radio Techniques for Probing the Terrestrial Ionosphere
暂无分享,去创建一个
This is a description of the basic principles of operation, as well as of the capabilities and limitations of all generic radio techniques employed in the investigation of the terrestrial ionosphere. The purpose of the book is to offer readers a balanced treatment of each technique so they can interpret ionospheric data and decide which techniques are the most effective for studying specific phenomena. The first two chapters outline the basic theory underlying the techniques and each following chapter discusses the principles, capabilities and limitations of each of the most important current radio techniques used in aeronomy or space physics. Typical examples of data are shown for the various techniques, and a brief historical account of the development of each technique is offered.
