Performance Analysis of Analog LMS Multiuser Receiver in Transmitted-Reference UWB System

A further study on the performance of the analog LMS multiuser receiver for TR-UWB signal is made in the paper. Based on fitting the profile of ultra-wideband channel, the closed-form expression for SINR output of proposed filter is derived. Furthermore, it is verified by simulation in LOS and NLOS channel respectively. With the performance analysis for the different integration windows, the method for choosing this window is derived. At the same time, the proposed LMS TR-UWB detection is proved to enjoy the low sensitivity to mistiming as in conventional noncoherent detection.
