Numerical Simulation of Explosion in Soil and Concrete Plate

The explosion in multi-materials is a problem concerning the couple of explosion and media, whereas most simulations of it ignored the effect of media to the explosion. The coupled method considers their couple through uniform governing equations and the interface conditions. Arbitary Lagrangian-Eularian method was developed particularly for calculating the large deformation problems, for the meshing abnormality can be avoided. Also, the new developed Holmquist-Johnson-Cook's model of concrete is more accordant with the property and fracture mechanism of concrete under impact and explosion loading. By the conbination of the three above methods, the calculating result well consists with the experimental data.
