Rough approximations in formal contexts

In this paper, relationships between the rough set theory and the formal concept analysis are discussed. By using some coverings and binary relations on the object set, and a heterogeneous relation of a formal context, several types of rough approximation operators on the object set are introduced. Then properties of the approximation operators are examined and the connections between the approximation operators and formal concepts are further established.
