All optical fibre auxiliary carrier based 2R regenerator

A novel all-optical 2R regenerator is proposed. Reshaping and conversion behaviours in a multi-wave- mixing regime inside a particular dispersion-shifted fibre are induced on a third auxiliary carrier improving the conversion range and bit-error-rate performances.
