Probabilistic reasoning techniques for situation assessments

This paper discusses the application of object oriented probabilistic relational models to the formulation of situation assessments in the tactical military domain. Object-oriented probabilistic relational models extend traditional attribute based Bayesian networks with the concepts of objects, their attributes and the relationships between them by combining a frame-based representation system with object-oriented Bayesian networks.
