Field validation of the geohydrology simulation model, FEWA

Abstract A finite element model of water flow through aquifers (FEWA) has been validated using field data from the Love Canal area, New York and from the Conesville area, Ohio, USA, The computed data for both cases investigated compare well with the field data, indicating that FEWA provides accurate results.
