Simplified Scheme for Calculating Thermal Parameters of High-power Turbine

Many problems are always encountered in the traditional thermal calculation of turbine on variable operation conditions,such as needing too many thermal parameters as calculating premise,the inaccuracy of the measurement of the thermal parameters and the difficulty of obtaining the geometric parameters of the flow passage.For solving the problems,a simplified scheme for calculating thermal parameters of turbines was planed.The calculation of the simplified scheme is based on few measurements of the steam parameters.It has characteristics of simplicity,convenience,practicability etc.The scheme was implemented on a 300MW turbine under some different operating conditions.The calculation results were compared with the data provided by manufacturer.The comparisons showed that the results from the calculation were satisfied the need of engineering application.
