Research on Ultrasound-Ferrite Methods for Treatment of the Waste Water Containing Cr~(6+)

Ultrasound-ferrite method was employed to treat the wastewater of containing Ni2+.The effects of FeSO4 dosage,pH,H2O2 dosage,radiation time and power of ultrasound on Ni2+ removal efficiency of the waste water and magnetism of ferrite were investigated and the optimum condition was determined.The results showed that the removal efficiency of Ni2+ would be increased with the rising of FeSO4 dosage.The optimum pH was 11.0 and the ratio of Fe2+ and Ni2+ was 3:1(mol:mol),The other optimum reactions of radiation time and power of ultrasound at 30min and 50W/cm2 could reach the best removal efficiency of Ni2+as over 99.8% and ferrite of best magnetism could be obtained by adding 1.0~2.0mL H2O2.
