Steady-state target optimization in linear model predictive control

For practical model predictive control applications, a receding horizon regulator must be able to handle nonzero controlled variable targets and nonsquare systems in a consistent manner. This work presents a steady-state target optimization that determines the steady-state state and input targets for a constrained, linear, state-space regulator.
