Wind response of a large tensile structure: The new roof of the olimpic stadium in Rome

Abstract After the construction of the new roofing of the Olympic Stadium in Rome, a completely new numerical model has been developed with the principal aim of investigating the aerodynamic behaviour. Starting from the available data on the pressure field measured on a model tested in wind tunnel, a multi-correlated field of the wind loading has been artificially generated to study the nonlinear response in Time Domain.
