P-2: Cross-talk Caused by Light Reflected on the Back-face of the LCD Glass in an Auto-stereoscopic Display Using the Field-sequential Method and a Directional Backlight System

Two prototypes of full-panel resolution auto-stereoscopic LCD have been developed [1]. One of them uses the field-sequential (time-sequential) method and a directional backlight system. This paper mainly describes optical cross-talk factors of it and a fact that reflection on the back-face of the LCD glass is the most significant one. This can be a problem in other auto-stereoscopic LCDs with a structure similar to ours.
