Optimal Synchronization Scheme for CMMB Receivers

This paper presents an optimum synchronization scheme aiming at the synchronization sensitivity of China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting(CMMB).Utilizing the auto-correlation of preamble and scatter pilots,this scheme provides high-precision,low complexity symbol synchronization algorithm,frequency acquisition algorithms and frequency tracking algorithm.Simulation results indicate that proposed scheme performs robustly under TU6 channel with 300 Hz Doppler frequency shift at-2 dB SNR.Compared with the conventional scheme,the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE) of estimation is reduced by 50%.
