A secure payment protocol with accountability properties

A payment protocol has been proposed and presented in this paper. The novel idea is the inclusion of necessary securities such as non-repudiation and authorization. When compared to other existing protocols, our protocol comsumes less resources on mobile devices. The results show that less encrytion operations are applied in transaction processes. Thus, the mobile device can be used more effectively since the CPU and battery usage are less consumed. The security analyses of our protocol are also conducted and show the improved performance.
