A new TAC based multi channel front-end electronics for TOF experiments with very high time resolution

This paper presents a compact electronics for time measurements with very high resolution of about 10 ps RMS. It has been designed for large scale physics experiments with thousands of channels. As an essential part of the timing front-end electronics, a high resolution TAC-chip was developed with an outstanding linearity and low power consumption at low costs.
