High-performance affinity chromatography

Abstract High-performance affinity chromatography is a new technique for the fast and efficient purification of biologically active molecules. It combines the biospecificity of affinity chromatography with the high speed and resolution obtained in high-performance liquid chromatography. In particular, the immobilization of ligands to different silica derivatives and their suitability for high-performance affinity chromatography are discussed.
