paper, we describe the Web People Search 2 attribute extraction task (WePS2-AE). It was conducted in September- December 2008 along with the WePS2 clustering task. Six groups participated in the AE task. We will describe the motivation, task definition, evaluation set up, participating systems, and evaluation results. We will discuss the problems and future directions.
