An analysis of boost rectifier

Circuit equations of the basic model of a boost rectifier are obtained by treating the current source rectifier with the two-port circuit model. A balanced steady-state analysis using a phasor transformation is performed. As the result of the analysis, the possible range of input current (or output power) versus output voltage is presented. A transient state analysis using D-Q transformation is also performed. As the result of the analysis, the open-loop dynamic stability of the output voltage and input current, and the possible range of input current derivative terms versus output voltage are presented.<<ETX>>
