Fast Algorithms for Multiple Errors Detection and Correction in Redundant Residue Number Systems

In this work, we study and extend the coding theory approach to error control in redundant residue number systems (RRNS). We derive new computationally emcient algorithms for correcting and detecting multiple errors. These algorithms reduce the computational complexity of the previously known algorithm by an order of magnitude. Also, it is worthwhile to mention here that all the literature published thus far deals almost exclusively with single error correction.
