Recognition and Learning of Unknown Objects in a Hierarchical Knowledge-Base

We present here a knowledge updation mech- anism based on a semantic-net like knowledge organization scheme. By considering learning as aa extension to recognition of unknown ob- jects, pre-updation analysis ensures consistency in the resulting knowledge base.
