Effects of processing parameters on agglomeration in expanded cut tobacco

To solve agglomeration problem of sp31 expanded equipment and analyze causes of expanded cut tobacco agglomeration, experiments were carried out by optimizing processing parameters, such as width of cutting, moisture content of dried tobacco, and medium dipping time. Results showed that moisture content of dried tobacco exhibited effects on the molding of expanded cut tobacco. The optimal processing parameters to solve agglomeration problem of expanded cut tobacco without impacting each index were 1.1 mm width of cutting,10.5% to 11.5% moisture content of dried tobacco, and 25min dipping time.
