This paper presents an analysis of a study of cyclist fatalities in Denmark. A total of 89 police reports were analyzed, with special attention paid to those aged 7 to 17 and age 65 or older. These two age groups account for more than half of the cyclists killed in traffic. Areas analyzed include: accidents with children and young adults; accident with elderly cyclists; accidents with cyclists between 25 and 64. Countermeasures were proposed for each age group to mitigate accident occurrences.
