Research Advance and Problems of Classification of Cracks in Concrete Bridge

With the rapid development of bridge construction in China,the problem of bridge disease is increasingly obvious. Cracks,which is a common kind of disease observed in concrete bridge,have important impacts on evaluating the healthy of bridge. For the sake of evaluating the situation of bridge disease scientifically,the appropriate classification of cracks is needed. In this paper,the reasons for the formations of cracks in concrete bridge are introduced firstly,then the classification of cracks in typical specifications at home and abroad are reviewed and compared with each other. Finally,the problems that need further study are put forward.
