Dynamic goniometer's measurement uncertainty

Dynamic goniometers are used for angle encoder's calibration. Dynamic goniometer's measurement uncertainty is caused by the errors of the reference angle encoder, bearings and drive. Investigation of the influence of the used bearings on the result of measurements was the main goal of the work. Results of the study of dynamic goniometer with different type of bearings are presented. Studies carried out by means of math statistics, Allan variation, Fourier and Wavelet analysis. It is shown, that the use of a ball bearing is increasing uncertainty and caused it's nonstationarity.
