Study on fatigue response model for fatigue life gauge

A full-range experimental study is performed on the response performance of the fatigue life gauge under constant load increments, and the calibration curve of resistance variation in response to fatigue is obtained. Based on the equivalent resistance variation method, a mathematical model for fatigue response under random cyclic loading is developed, and the function of the full-range statistical distribution of resistance response error is also given under random loading. Finally, multistage loading experiments are performed to verify the model, and the result shows that the calculating method can predict the variation of resistance accurately.
