파일롯 화염에 의해 고정된 관내 예혼합 화염에 대한 실험적 연구

Lean laminar premixed propane and methane flames which were anchored by a hydrogen-pilot flame in a tube were investigated experimentally. The different flame shapes were observed by varying mean velocity from 10 to 200cm/s(Re=339~6772) and equivalence ratio from 0.45 to 0.7. The flame shape was observed by a ICCD camera and a high speed camera. It was possible to draw stability diagram for propane and methane flames. And the Le number effect on the behavior of the flame was investigated in the stability diagram for propane and methane flames. The stability diagram consists of flashback region, tail-out region, stable region and vibrating region. The He-Ne laser and the PMT were used for measuring the frequency of vibrating flame and the Ar-Ion laser and alumina particles were used for observing the flow streamline before the flame front.
