Research on Deployment Plan and Detection Technology for the Integrated Video Surveillance Platform of Power Grid

To achieve the video resources share, State Grid Corporation of China plans to build an integrated video surveillance platform, which can realize the interconnection, unified control and unified management of network video systems. For the limited bandwidth of existing networks and the performance bottlenecks of the existing video platforms, this paper studies the scheme of the integrated video surveillance platform based on the hierarchical deployment of the streaming media servers, establishes the evaluation models of the platform performance and reliability indexes and uses the models to analyze an evaluation example. The results show that the scheme can ensure the safe and reliable operation of the grid integrated video surveillance platform.
