In that way making high pressure steam from low pressure steam being useless if not use, TVR system conceptually is analogous to heat pump facility for boosting energy potential. In respect of compressing re-evaporating steam issued from flash vessel at large steam consumed industrial process, TVR system is very similar to MVR(Mechanical Vapor Re-compression) system. But there is main difference between TVR and MVR in method of compressing re-evaporated steam. TVR system thermally compress re-evaporating steam, but MVR makes use of electrical power and compress re-evaporating steam electrically. Therefore TVR system is more relative predominance than MVR system. This paper is concerned about industrial process energy savings and thermal performance assessment of TVR system. For TVR system"s thermal performance assessment, S company"s Corrugated paper production process is selected. In this study, TVR system"s basic concept, practical engineering design variable and thermal main parameters such as suction ration and compression ratio are introduced. According to IPMVP(International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol) option A. B. C, FEMS(Facility Energy Management System) based on Labview ver 8.2 S/W is developed for TVR system"s thermal performance assessment in this study. Energy saving ratio of variable TVR system is estimated as 11.3%, which is good enough value in thermal and economical point of view. Hence, for the TVR system"s disseminated, above all things, TVR system should be considered and aided by publicly-funded subsidies policy.
