A protective structure for electronic systems within shells is proposed in this paper to improve the anti-overloading ability of electronic system in projectile by using three-dimensional finite element software. As a consequence, the unitary structure of the electronic system and the cushion with different holes (4,6,8,10 equally distributed) is obtained. Moreover, the response of the projectile after penetration will be monitored. The effects on the shell can reflect the overloading and stress distribution on the electronic system. The numerical results are compared to obtain a better protective structure.
