ESTIMATION OF PARAMETERS OF A MODEL OF A STEAM OVERHEATER FROM SERVICE DATA

The paper describes a procedure of obtaining estimated values of parameters of a model of a controlled powerplant steam overheater from measured service data. A construction of a mathematical model of the overheater is described in a stand-alone paper in the same proceedings. The overheater consists of two subsystems that can be identified separately - cooling steam by water injection and heating steam part. Statisti- cal estimation of parameters from measured data is complicated by the fact that the dis- turbances influencing the outlet temperature are not pure random. Moreover, since the plant is under feedback, correlation between the disturbances and the system input has to be considered.
