The variation of solar transmittance with angle of incidence

SYNOPSIS Rigorous optical analysis and empirical macrosopic relationships are alternative means of describing the variation of solar transmittance with angle of incidence. The pertinant features of each are described. Comparisons are presented of the predictions emanating from each technique.
