Comparison of switched receivers for direct-sequence spread-spectrum wireless power transfer

The limitations of single-frequency wireless power transfer provide a strong incentive to use spread spectrum techniques. While techniques for transmitting power using spread spectrum modulation already exist, this paper introduces different receiver topologies and algorithms for receiving power spread across a wideband of frequencies. The power output and the efficiency of receivers is constrained by the switch parameters. Receiver topology choice depends on the application requirements and constraints. The receiver realization provides a platform for the evolution of direct-sequence spread-spectrum wireless power transfer.
