A Method of State Recognition to the Equipment's Guiding Lights

This paper mainly discusses some technologies for the remote visual monitoring of the equipment system,which is used to decrease the amount of the network transmission data and realize intelligent monitoring.A method adopting computer vision technology is proposed to identify the state of the circular guiding lights and gain the relevance monitoring information.First,the paper carries out the image pretreatment for the image and extract the image's border,and secondly,finds out the centre of the circular guiding lights.Then,every pixel 's intensity value and hue value are counted which are in the centre of a circle area in HSI color space for all circular guiding lights.Finally,it distinguishes the guiding lights' state using the count.Matlab is used to study the feasibility of this method.The experimental results demonstrate that this method is applicable for the red guiding light and green guiding light and has a certain application value.
